Higher education institutions of Turkmenistan will take part in hosting the International Youth Scientific Forum “Lomonosov–2026”, organized by Lomonosov Moscow State University In particular, from April 10 to 25, the XXXIII International Scientific Conference for Students, Postgraduates, and Young Scientists “Lomonosov” will be held within the framework of the forum. The large-scale scientific conference will take place at regional venues in the Russian Federation, as well as at branches of Lomonosov Moscow State University in Russia and in Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and China, along with an international venue in Turkmenistan The international conference venue in Turkmenistan will be organized in Ashgabat at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and the Magtymguly Turkmen State University This format of international cooperation was implemented in Turkmenistan for the first time last year, when two sections of the “Lomonosov” international conference were held at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages This year the international venue in Ashgabat has been expanded: the work will be distributed between two universities across four scientific areas, demonstrating the strengthening of academic cooperation and the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmen universities and the Russian university Within the framework of the upcoming forum, the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages will serve as the responsible institution for the areas “Foreign Languages and Area Studies,” “Theory, History and Methodology of Translation,” and “Philology.” Meanwhile, Magtymguly Turkmen State University will oversee the “Chemistry” section Students, master’s students, postgraduate researchers, and young scientists under the age of 35 are invited to participate. Registration is available on the “Lomonosov” scientific and educational portal until April 6. The working languages of the conference are Russian and English. Participation is free of charge. Following the forum, participants will receive certificates, and authors of the best scientific papers will be awarded diplomas Overall, this year the conference will be conducted across venues in Russia and the above-mentioned countries through 44 sections reflecting the main areas of modern fundamental and applied science The main goal of the “Lomonosov” Conference is to develop the creative activity of students, postgraduate researchers, and young scientists, involve them in addressing pressing issues of modern science, preserve and develop a unified international scientific and educational space, and establish contacts among future colleagues
